"Hydrogen and Oxygen."

The most fundamental landscape.

Water.

The critical combination of chemical elements that turned a barren rock into an Eden.

The primordial soup.

The flow of life.

The erosion of surface.

The passage of time.

All present in this one wondrous element.

And yet we thrive on a kind of meniscus.

The precarious space between the surface of the oceans and the top of the mountains where the air runs out.

Proportionally, this gossamer thin layer where we can survive on our planet,  is the equivalent thickness

to the skin of a balloon..
