"Nobody"

I'm fascinated by the idea that human form could communicate character rather than reality.

That a person's inner world is so different from the outer facade we dress with codes - clothing, styles – just to fit in.

The human figure doesn't need facial features to have a presence and begin a story.

In this series of sculptures and drawings – A constant piece of work over many years – I'm looking at the nature of that almost shadow life.

The marks that life leaves on us , and we leave through our existence.

The shapes we make when we block the light.
