What is this creature we have become?

We seem to be incredible, remarkable, parasitical and utterly selfish – all at the same time.
I don't know what we are.
Where we came from.
What we're doing to this planet.
 

We seem trapped by ourselves.
We cannot stop destroying this Eden it seems.
We cannot leave.
Struggling and evolving, live on screen it would appear.

Trapped by our own strange genius nature.
